The Freeman family has been in the lumber business for four generations. Carl Freeman founded the company in the early 1900s. Teryl Freeman, great grandson of Carl Freeman, presently owns the company.
Freeman Wood Products focuses on custom work from pallets and packaging material to wooden and cardboard hybrid packages.
Freeman Wood Products has customers throughout the state of Tennessee as well as Alabama, Virginia, and Indiana.
In February 1997 Freeman Wood Products began operation in a newly constructed 50,000 sq.ft. Warehouse-style building. Custom designed products are Freeman Wood Products specialty plus using in-house custom-built machinery allows Freeman Wood Products to meet customer’s needs and special configurations. Automation and upgrading has been a trend at Freeman Wood Products as it is a company that continues to seek out ways to better serve their customers.

FWP pallet line is state of the art with the capacity to build up to 2000 pallets per shift.

FWP keeps an inventory on hand for customers who require JIT. FWP offers many services including computer-generated drawings and specs.
